You may have already noticed the fresh, new design of the 2025 Kia K5 attracting plenty of attention on the street. It’s returned for this model year better than ever before, with a new look, new engine, and new standard driver assistance features. Like its predecessor, the 2025 K5 has a comfortable cabin with seating for five, top safety ratings, and industry-leading warranty coverage.

Introducing the 2025 Kia K5

Most K5 trim levels get an all-new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine this year, which produces 191 horsepower, 181 lb.-ft. of torque, and averages up to an EPA-estimated 30 MPG combined. Compared with last year’s standard turbo engine, this new, normally aspirated engine generates an extra 11 horsepower. The GT-Line trim offers available all-wheel drive for drivers who need improved traction in inclement weather conditions. Drivers can also choose the GT trim, with a 290-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and sport-tuned suspension.

Inside the K5’s cabin, spacious seating and dual-zone auto climate control creates an ideal driving environment. The LXS trim level comes with cloth-trimmed seats, while other trims have SynTex seat trim. A 12.3-inch touchscreen display is standard for 2025, making it easy to see and manage audio and vehicle settings. The K5 also has 15.6 cubic feet of cargo space and a standard Smart Trunk that opens automatically when you stand behind it for 3 seconds with your Smart Key.

New This Year

The K5 features new Star Map LED Daytime Running Lights, amber positioning lights, and a sleek front fascia. It has a new standard 12.3-inch touchscreen display. You can pair it with an available 12-inch instrument screen to create a single 24-inch Panoramic Display. This display shows all needed information, from outside temperature to navigation. Several driver assistance features optional in 2024, like Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, are now standard for 2025.

Advanced Driver Assistance

When you get behind the wheel of the K5, you can rest assured that you and your passengers are protected. It earned a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the NHTSA. It also comes standard with many driver assistance technologies to enhance your safety.

Driver Attention Warning monitors your driving patterns and issues a warning if your attention level decreases. Its Leading Vehicle Departure Alert also alerts you when the vehicle ahead of yours begins moving from a stop. Other standard features include Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, which detects vehicles traveling in adjacent lanes, then warns you if you activate your turn signal while another vehicle is present.
