The Exciting All-New 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid: What We Know So Far

The future of three-row SUVs is getting even more exciting with the upcoming all-new 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid. At Fitzgerald Kia of Annapolis, drivers throughout Annapolis, Severna Park, Bowie, and Glen Burnie are already looking ahead to this next-generation SUV. While final specs, trims, and pricing will be announced closer to launch, Kia has confirmed major upgrades including a first-ever available hybrid powertrain, expanded interior space, and new technology designed to enhance everyday driving and long-distance comfort.

The next-generation Telluride is expected to arrive in the United States in early 2026 (timing and availability may vary, and inventory may be limited at launch).

First-Ever Telluride Hybrid Powertrain

One of the biggest highlights of the all-new Telluride is the introduction of an available turbocharged hybrid powertrain. Kia has previewed a turbo-hybrid setup rated at up to 329 horsepower and up to a Kia-estimated 35 MPG combined on the EX FWD (not shown).* Fuel economy, range, and final specifications are subject to change and final EPA estimates (where applicable).

The hybrid system pairs a turbocharged engine with electric motors and a lithium-ion battery to help balance strong performance with improved efficiency compared to the prior generation.

Larger Interior, More Comfort, and Advanced Technology

The redesigned Telluride is expected to grow in overall size, offering more second-row and third-row space along with increased cargo capacity. Inside, Kia is focusing heavily on comfort and premium features, including available relaxation front seats, upgraded second-row seating options, and additional convenience technology throughout the cabin.

Technology is also expanding across the lineup, with features such as standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ and other available convenience and connectivity features depending on trim.

Increased Capability with X-Pro and AWD Enhancements

For drivers who want additional off-road confidence or trail capability, the Telluride is expected to continue offering X-Line and X-Pro trims. Kia has announced that the upgraded X-Pro setup includes wider all-terrain tires, an advanced Electronic Limited Slip Differential (E-LSD), multi-terrain AWD modes, and up to 9.1 inches of ground clearance (features and availability may vary by trim and configuration).
